After the fall of Strangeland Records in Northern Virginia during the great
"Getting People out to Support a Local Record Shop" battle of '06-'08, LoFidelity Promotions was started by the ex-Strangeland
Street Team members to continue the vision of supporting local Music, Art and Rollerderby (amongst other things) in the Virginia,
Maryland and DC area.
Our goal is to become a driving force in street-based promotions along with providing an on-line service for Music, Art and Derby fans
to keep apprised of cool converts and events in their local communities. Since so many promotional teams are opting to go "online-only",
we'll continue to be those people dropping posters in local businesses, handing out fliers outside of shows and generally talking to
anybody interested in supporting local music.
This site will be evolving as the main members have time to work on it, so expect some changes coming in the future. Feel free to drop us
an email if you're interested in helping out, or if you're a Band/Artist/Rollergirl who's looking for some promotional help. And check out
our MySpace page for Bands that have already signed on for us to help them promote their
music and shows.
